In an effort to promote joint research of the hydrogeological and soil sciences we would like to invite authors to our session „Preferential flows in fractured porous media, soils and rock-soil interfaces“ at AGU 2018, Washington D.C.

Soil, porous-fractured and karstified systems with high contrasts in hydraulic properties require sophisticated scale-dependent research, conceptualization and (numerical) modeling to properly capture all relevant flow and transport processes. We welcome contributions with a focus on preferential flow and transport dynamics ranging from microscopic to catchment scales both under saturated and unsaturated conditions.
